EDF Energy is building two new nuclear reactors at Hinkley Point C in Somerset, the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in the UK providing low carbon electricity for around six millions homes.
Hinkley Point C will:

- Bring lasting benefits to communities throughout the South West
Contractors who will be coming to work at Hinkley Point C will need to stay in a variety of accommodation from hotels and guesthouses, to caravans and B&Bs. Some workers may choose to rent local houses or flats.
The www.hpcportal.com website has been commissioned by EDF Energy to provide accommodation for HPC workers, and to give local providers of accommodation a platform to list their accommodation and make it bookable online.
