Travel and Commuting
Car parking space is limited at the Hinkley Point C site, so most workers leave their vehicles at nearby Park and Ride sites and travel to and from work by bus.
Park and Ride services currently operate at Junctions 23, 24 & 25 of the M5, and the HPC bus services either stop or originate there, as well as elsewhere in the local area to pick up workers and take them to the site.
There are also more Park and Ride facilities at Cannington to collect workers travelling from the west of Bridgwater and from nearby rural areas, and one to the west of Williton to collect workers travelling from the south and west of the Hinkley Point C construction site.
